The Ministry of Commerce directed the recall of the affected bottles in cooperation with the Defective Products Recall Center after identifying a defect in products sold through the online retailer Mumzworld. According to the ministry, the recall targets Boon’s NURSH 8 oz. Silicone Baby Bottle 3-Pack with product number B11654. The ministry determined that parts of the bottle’s hard plastic outer shell may bubble, peel or detach, creating small loose pieces that pose a choking hazard to infants.
Consumers in possession of the bottles should stop using them immediately to avoid any risk, the ministry said. The directive instructs buyers to contact Mumzworld directly to arrange a return for either a full refund or a replacement product. Mumzworld has been tasked with handling all customer inquiries and processing the exchanges for the recalled items.
This local measure follows a larger voluntary recall of the identical product in the United States the previous month. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reported that TOMY International recalled roughly 40,000 Boon NURSH 8 oz reusable baby bottles. CPSC data places the number of reported incidents involving the shell peeling or bubbling at 135.
TOMY International announced the US recall on June 4, 2026, limiting the action to the pink tie-dye version of the three-pack sold exclusively at Walmart. In its recall notice, the company stated that the plastic on the outer shell may peel, posing a potential choking hazard. The announcement made clear that no other NURSH bottle colors, patterns, sizes or SKUs were included.
Customers covered by the original US recall can choose between a replacement three-pack in a solid color or a store credit refund valued at $22, according to TOMY’s press release. The Saudi recall centers on the same model number B11654 identified by the manufacturer. Saudi authorities have not indicated whether any adverse events linked to the bottles have occurred within the kingdom.
The ministry’s announcement listed the precise product description to help consumers identify any matching items in their possession. Coordination between the Ministry of Commerce and the Defective Products Recall Center ensured the swift dissemination of the safety alert. Retailers and distributors have been notified to cease sales of the affected batch pending resolution of the defect.
