The three-day event functions as a premier platform linking overseas travel providers to Saudi buyers and consumers. Exhibitors display offerings spanning airlines, hospitality, tour packages and specialized destination services. Industry representatives participate in structured meetings to forge commercial ties and highlight Saudi Arabia’s attractions to a wider audience.

Organizers noted that prior iterations of the exhibition have drawn more than 30,000 attendees along with 165 exhibitors from 29 countries covering 16 distinct travel categories. The 2026 gathering is anticipated to expand those figures as the kingdom deepens its global tourism outreach. Sessions encompass both trade matchmaking and public access components to maximize engagement across segments.

Ministry of Tourism data recorded more than 122 million domestic and international tourists in 2025, reflecting a 5 percent rise from the year before. Saudi Central Bank figures place international arrivals at 30 million during the same period. These totals underscore the momentum generated by streamlined visa processes and large-scale project developments across the country.

The sector’s workforce surpassed 1 million in the third quarter of 2025, the Ministry of Tourism said. Such expansion forms part of Saudi Vision 2030 initiatives that identify tourism as a central pillar for economic diversification. Stakeholders at the exhibition are set to address emerging patterns including eco-friendly practices and technology integration in booking and customer management systems.

Saudi travel agencies attend to identify fresh inventory and conclude supply agreements with foreign partners. The kingdom’s outbound market has registered notable increases, prompting global destinations to court Saudi visitors through dedicated pavilions. Workshops during the expo examine shifting consumer demands and competitive strategies within the regional landscape.

Jeddah’s established position as an entry point for both pilgrimage and leisure travel enhances its suitability as the host location. City authorities have channeled resources into upgrading accommodation and transportation facilities to match rising demand. Organizers project that deals signed at the current edition will further solidify cross-border collaborations in the travel field.
