The Health Holding Company announced on October 19, 2026, that it is offering 4,291 new job opportunities to Saudi health practitioners in various medical specialties spread across the 20 health clusters operating in every region of the Kingdom. According to the company, the vacancies form part of sustained efforts to attract national talent, meet cluster requirements and strengthen readiness to deliver high-quality care. The Health Holding Company described the initiative as a continuation of its role in building a Saudi-led healthcare workforce.
With this announcement the cumulative total of direct employment, training contracts that lead to jobs, and new positions offered in 2026 has reached 19,610, the company reported. That total includes 12,914 Saudi nationals already hired, 2,405 approved training contracts ending in employment, and the 4,291 roles now open. The Health Holding Company stated that interested candidates can apply electronically through the dedicated recruitment portal of each health cluster within 15 days of the cluster publishing its specific vacancies.
The Health Holding Company functions as a national organization delivering comprehensive integrated healthcare through the 20 clusters that serve populations across Saudi Arabia. Its operations follow the Saudi healthcare model, which centers on the patient, prioritizes prevention before treatment, raises service standards and introduces new care pathways that simplify access. The clusters include those in Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, the Eastern Province, Asir, Jazan and other regions.
Figures from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties place the Kingdom’s registered healthcare workforce above 801,000 practitioners in 2025 after a 4.5 percent increase from the prior year. The commission’s data show roughly 460,000 of those practitioners were Saudi nationals. Training output also expanded, with more than 12,500 graduates completing Saudi Board and health academy programs that year while training seats rose 17 percent.
An earlier recruitment campaign by the Health Holding Company in February 2026 advertised 3,150 positions that similarly focused on consultants, specialists, resident physicians under training and nurses, the Ministry of Health website recorded. That round opened applications on March 3, 2026, and limited each candidate to a single cluster. Both drives support the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program, a core component of Saudi Vision 2030.
Saudization requirements in health specialties such as laboratories, radiology, physiotherapy and therapeutic nutrition have generated thousands of citizen opportunities since their phased implementation, according to earlier statements from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. The ministry set minimum salary thresholds for counting toward localization rates and offered wage subsidies to private-sector employers. The latest openings from the Health Holding Company extend this policy through direct cluster-based hiring that bypasses some traditional ministry channels while maintaining national employment priorities.
