The Ministry of Interior reported that its electronic platform Absher processed over 49 million transactions for beneficiaries in August through the Absher Individuals and Absher Business portals combined. This volume demonstrates the system’s established position as a primary channel for accessing a wide array of government services without requiring physical visits to offices. The Ministry of Interior has progressively developed Absher to handle everything from personal document management to business-related procedures in a secure digital environment.
According to a previous Ministry of Interior announcement, the platform processed 50,815,790 electronic transactions in July. That total included 47,869,218 transactions via Absher Individuals, of which 37,089,458 were document viewings through the digital wallet available to citizens, residents and visitors. Absher Business accounted for 2,946,572 transactions during July, illustrating the breadth of usage across user categories.
The Ministry of Interior figures show that services linked to the General Directorate of Public Security, including traffic and passport operations, consistently represent a substantial share of monthly activity on the platform. Civil Status Agency transactions are also integrated into the system, allowing streamlined processing for related inquiries and updates. These directorates have reported millions of interactions monthly as users shift toward the digital tools.
Through Absher Individuals, the platform supports additional public services such as issuing reports and responding to fingerprint-related inquiries, the Ministry of Interior stated. The availability of these features within a single ecosystem has reduced administrative burdens while maintaining high standards of verification and data protection. Users have increasingly turned to the mobile application for convenient access at any time.
The Ministry of Interior noted that unified digital identities issued through Absher have now surpassed 28 million. These identities enable seamless and secure access to services across Absher Individuals, Absher Business and Absher Government platforms. They further extend to more than 500 government and private entities via the National Unified Access portal Nafath.
Data from earlier months tracked by the Ministry of Interior placed June transactions at 48,854,788, indicating a stable pattern of high engagement throughout the summer. The platform’s growth aligns with broader national efforts to digitize public services and improve efficiency for both individuals and commercial entities. Regular monthly updates from the Ministry of Interior continue to track this expanding digital footprint.
