According to the Ministry of Commerce, owners must enter their vehicle identification number on the Recalls.sa platform to determine whether their Audi Q5 falls within the affected range. Those with matching vehicles should then schedule an appointment with Samaco Motors, the official Audi agent in the kingdom. The ministry confirmed that all qualifying repairs will be performed free of charge at authorized service centers.
Samaco Motors has been instructed to inspect the pretensioner assembly and replace it where necessary on the affected vehicles, the ministry stated. This process aligns with standard protocols for addressing component-specific defects in luxury SUVs. The importer maintains a network of facilities equipped to handle the technical work without delay.
The Ministry of Commerce has issued more than 40 vehicle recall notices since the beginning of 2025 for defects in various imported models, according to records maintained on the Recalls.sa platform. These notices have encompassed issues from electrical systems to restraint mechanisms and have covered several thousand vehicles in total.
